Villa Funny is located on the seashore of Amami Island. In order to preserve and restore the abandoned area which has rich in species. The house is buried into the ground not to be an
obstruction of its beautiful scenery, and to make the roof space for renovation of local vegetation system. The roof terrace opens for public to promote the activity for local communities and visitors. Nowadays, the villa becomes a hub for ecotourism and achieve the local island community business. LOSFEE designed the house and developed the management systems.

in Far east because it locates sub-tropical area
having the most diverse species in East Asia and
it has unique social culture development.
Also,the beautiful water and green landscape are
peculiar tourism resources.
To have good communication with nature and
visitors, Villa staff plays a eco-guide to conserve
native sea-turtle community on the site and tell
the story about them and its importance to
visitors .
Moreover, we have good relationship with local
community to manage tour curriculum. The
partners provide local soul foods, marine and sky
sports activities to the customers.

Please find the equipment from the storage and we recommend you to wear marine shoes because Coral reef in shallow water of the beach.

Beach opens in April. Please use Rash guard to secure yourself.
